About Lean Ledger

Standards are not optional.

Lean Ledger is run on a simple rule: the work has to be legal, ethical, competent and defensible. I take ACCA standards seriously, and I will not bend professional rules to make an awkward position look better.

01

Integrity

I deal honestly with records, returns and explanations. If something is wrong, it gets corrected rather than dressed up.

02

Objectivity

Advice is based on the facts, not pressure, convenience, personal relationships or a preferred answer.

03

Competence and care

I only take on work I can handle properly, and I keep the work aligned with current rules, standards and technical guidance.

04

Confidentiality

Client information is protected and used only for the work agreed, unless there is a legal or professional duty to disclose.

05

Professional behaviour

The practice follows relevant law and regulation, including anti-money laundering obligations and professional conduct standards.

What this means in practice.

This page is intentionally direct. It is here to save time for the right clients and to deter the wrong ones.

  • I will not create or support figures that are not backed by records.
  • I will not ignore suspicious activity, beneficial ownership issues, or source-of-funds questions.
  • I will not backdate documents, hide income, invent expenses, or make private spending look commercial.
  • I will walk away from work where the facts, behaviour or pressure compromise professional standards.
